About Me

Hello! I'm headed off to Stanford Law School this fall. I graduated from UCLA with a bachelors degree in Public Affairs in 2022 and I also hold AA degrees in English and Political Science from El Camino College.

The ability to communicate intentionally matters to me and I tend to take my time thinking through the nuances and phrasing of sentences. I love writing and the use of language more generally. In 2024 I applied to law school with the hopes of being the type of lawyer who works on the systemic issues of his communities through law and policy. After two years and three attempts at the law school admissions test I scored in the 97th percentile of all applicants, a 171 score. The dean of admissions at Stanford Law said that I write beautifully, and maybe she says that to everyone, but it is a compliment that I take personally.

I have three years of tutoring experience with English, helping students get into colleges, receive scholarships, or gain confidence in their courses. In my professional work I've successfully written multiple grants resulting in 50 thousand dollars of awarded funds. I also have experience reviewing and negotiating contracts as a manager at an investment firm for health and fitness in the UAE.

I am especially excited to help students find their voice in their personal statements or other application materials. I find that the best writing is often tied to a strong personal story, and everyone has a story, but it matters how you tell it.

I want to make sure these edits are useful to both you and me. I currently offer one free 30 minute consultation where you can ask any question you have on the law school admissions process, the LSAT, or your written assignments.

My rates are purposefully priced low for a limited time for the first handful of students. If you're in the Los Angeles, Orange County, or Inland Empire area and interested in in-person tutoring please reach out for a consolation.
